Many times you may want to use multiple lines to make your recipe more readable or to enable all characters to be supported. To use multiple lines in YAML, simply add a pipe ("|") after the colon on your property. Common places where using multiline strings is valuable is on connectors and statements.

In connectors, you may need multiple lines for different SQL dialects (Postgres, SOQL, etc.) or for inline JSON objects.

In statements, multiple lines make your Lingk Query Language (with Spark SQL Selects) statements more readable.
